*Walks into his room to find an artists sketchbook sitting on his desk that was given to him when he was a kid, that was only now found again by his parents* Sumanitu (7:01 AM) : I'm reading through a 'sketch' book my family gave me when I was 3. I'm looking at it, thinking how pathetic I must have seemed to other kids that I had as friends, and how much of a chance I had to be to be a Child prodigy if I didnt have behavioral problems and parents who didnt want to encourage such a thing Sumanitu (7:03 AM) : There are diagrams of the basic idea of how a gas laser works, how lenses can be used to turn an image upside down, logic gate adders for 4 bit binary numbers, addition and subtraction problems with numbers 10 digits long, among other stuff ....Edited out messages Sumanitu (7:05 AM) : I had troubles sleeping, so when my family was asleep I read our 1978 edition world book encyclopedias, and my favorite book, The Way Things Work. A young adult geared book that diagrams things like automobile engines, elevators, etc Sumanitu (7:06 AM) : That, and my Sister, who was in college to be a teacher at the time, taught me quite a bit CaffeinePuppy (7:07 AM) : So have you figured out how exactly you wound up a forklift-driving furry gamer? Sumanitu (7:07 AM) : Tourette's, Obsessive compulsive disorder, and ADD Current Mood: contemplative |

Update...
I was diagnosed with influenza. Nurse checked my temp at 102.9F. Gave me some medicine to help with the symptoms and sent me home to curl up. |

Rock will melt, coal crystalize, The clouds and skylines materialize. Wings spread take flights over northern lights, Wolves howl over blood-red moonlit nights. We're Kings and Queens within our dreams, The sky rains diamonds or ruby rings. Oceans, rivers, lakes and ponds, Lions, unicorns, birds and fawns. Come on and fly with me... I think this the first time I've /ever/ had the flu. Ever. I've had lots of colds in my life, but I've never had one accompanied by chills and stiffness before. In fact, I can't remember anytime in my life that I actually had something that made me shiver uncontrollably even under layers of blankets. *curls up tightly and shivers* Current Mood: sick |

Finally got rid of my crappy 20$ computer speakers that I've had since I had my 486 66mhz and picked up these http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=656 *snugs his speakers and breathes a sigh of relief* It took all of 10 minutes for my mom to come into my room and complain about the bass though :P I really need to get a place of my own. I don't understand why people cut themselves off from the world, why they think they can just hide from drama. What good does it do to delete your livejournal and your muck characters and your IRC client? You're always going to be involved in drama, unless you completely cut yourself off from the whole world and just sit in your room until you run out of food and water. Thats the way life is, it would be boring if it was always perfect. All you can do is focus on the good times and the friends that you'd miss if you did cut yourself off. I've had a couple people recently do this because a few particular individuals are causing them troubles, and it seems like they are just letting those people win. Current Mood: frustrated |

Who could you ask when they lack understanding? Who could you tell that you're not of their kind? More than just human shape, not only hairless ape. What could they find inside your mind? What should you do when others turn against you? What to believe when all they know is hate? Could your belief be true? Is there a wolf in you? What is your fate at heaven's gate? Last night was my one year anniversary date at WinCo. Why is this significant to me? Because one year ago I was depressed and even had suicidal thoughts at times. I had hardly any friends, few hobbies other then computer gaming, weighed 235 pounds, and I thought I'd never be able to hold down a job because of my Tourette's Syndrome and irregular body clock. Now I've got my own car and truck, been getting into things like Taekwondo and snowboarding, have several great friends, a wonderful mate, have lost 40 pounds, and feel happier then I have since as long as I can remember. How idiotic can people get? Protesters are blocking off the Burnside bridge in Portland because they don't care for war. It's a little bit late for that. And what good is it doing? It's not going to make Bush stop. They aren't even causing trouble for a governmental institution. All they're doing is causing commuters headaches and taking their frustrations out on the police. Personally I think most of them just want some excitement. Current Mood: annoyed |

Went up to Mt. Hood with wulfeyez and a bunch of other furiends. I came to see Sheppard bust some moves in his fursuit, but I managed to work up enough courage to give snowboarding a try myself. Now I'm sitting here in pain now from crashing down the mountain about 30 times at 30 mph wishing I could afford to go every weekend and the ski season wasn't over in a month. Damn you Sheppard! I also got to meet a cool fur, deusexbestia, see a cute white tiger fursuit named snowball thats the mascot at Mt. Hood Meadows, and use Wolftales puppy Rusty to warm my frost bitten hands up. Was a great weekend, and I'm thinking about heading up to Mt.Hood again on the 30th if anyone wants to come with me. Current Mood: ecstatic |
